Government Authority located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Canada based organization looking for expert vendors for temporary security services.
[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide temporary security personnel to perform internal and exterior security guard duties for the new central office location.
- Provide one person per shift for 24/7 security guard and patrol services, including holidays. Services will ramp down to one person per shift for 12/7 security guard and patrol services, including holidays. Actual schedules will be determined at time of award.
- 24/7 shifts will be 3 x 8-hour shifts. 12/7 shifts will be 1 x 12-hour shift. Shift hours, durations, and dates are subject to change.
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property internally, external walk-throughs, potentially monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points, and permitting entry.
- Managing card and key access as well as sign in and signing out of contractors and employees.
- Obtain help by sounding alarms and contacting authorities (city police, emergency services, etc.).
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Communicate daily with SIGA Corporate Facilities Manager, SIGA Director of Operations, and SIGA Office Manager.
- Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises.
- provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
- Remain in compliance with local, provincial and federal regulations.
- Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
- Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, and property patrols to the government authority located in Saskatoon, SK.
(2) The contract term will be for one year.
