[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide staff augmentation services, including but not limited to transportation and public works, public utilities, central services, etc. to the government authority located in Athens, GA.
- Project Pre-Design Activities
- Project Design Phase Activities, including but not limited to
- Seek opportunities to demonstrate innovative ideas, e.g., sustainability, green stormwater solutions
- Consider permitting needs early and often GDOT, RR
- Project budget development and maintenance
- Scan for grant funding opportunities and evaluate benefits to downsides
- Project schedule development and maintenance
- Interaction with Project User Groups
- Project Specific Mayor & Commission Agenda Reports
- Project Specific Community Forums
- Processes for Procurement of Project Specific Professional Services
- Bid Solicitation, Evaluation and Award Activities
- Project Construction Phase Activities
- Project Completion/Close Out Activities
- Scope of capital program and project delivery contract will include knowledge and skills transfer from consultant to staff for capital project delivery
- Training programs
- Facilitate obtaining PMP certification
- Review invoices (jointly with departments where a project manager might be embedded) and
recommend for payment once corrected
- Make recommendations to Management on how to expedite project delivery, balancing cost,
quality and scheduling
- Program Management add alternate, as suggested by RFP Committee, for services needed in
interim cases or other situations.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 15, 2020
