[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide utilization review staffing services to the government authority located in Austin, TX.
- Staff are registered nurses and medical coders that conduct retrospective reviews
- The staff utilizes the information during medical record review of claims or encounters submitted for reimbursement by hospital providers
- Staff validate inpatient hospital diagnoses including diagnosis related group assignments and validate the accuracy of provider billing based on medical record documentation
- The codes are updated annually, and the unit has new staff that require initial training
- The training will be 2.5 days each, in two separate sessions, for approximately 60 staff members in groups of 25-30
- The reviews broadly consist of all types of inpatient Medicaid claims and encounters with emphasis on maternal, neonatal, behavioural health diagnoses, and procedures

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be onsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
