[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide medical director services to provide medical oversight of agency policies and procedures governing patient care in the department article 28 diagnostic and treatment center, licensed home care services agency, and pre-school and early intervention programs in accordance with accepted standardized professional practice and state and federal regulations to the government authority located in Binghamton, NY.
- Evaluate public health needs for county through review of surveillance data and participation in strategic planning process
- Provide-assistance to health department staff regarding community needs, recommend remedial courses of medial action to government and the health care community
- Review and supervise services provided by other health department staff through chart review and sign-off, case conference; authorization of hospitalization, referral for specialty consultation, laboratory, x-ray, administration of drugs, nursing care, extended care, and other medically accepted treatments
- Develop standards concerning the appointment and credentialing of medical and dental staff and evaluate professional appointees’ clinical skills
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referral of individuals
- Work effectively with department personnel to establish goals, policies, procedures, planning, scheduling, and other activities
(2) All question must be submitted no later than February 25, 2020.
(3) Contract period will be for five years.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be onsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
