Government Authority located in Toledo, Ohio; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for seasonal, intern, temporary and youth supplemental staffing services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide seasonal, intern, temporary and youth supplemental staffing services to the government authority located in Toledo, OH.
- employment agencies must demonstrate the ability to implement, coordinate, and monitor seasonal, intern, temporary and/or youth workers in assignments with duties as described in the following sections, working directly with HR,
- The City pays the agency a rate that is based on hourly wages plus the agency’s mark-up fee. The agency is responsible for maintaining payroll, issuing checks, as well as applicable insurance coverage such as, but not limited to, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment Compensation, and any other applicable liability coverage required by law or contract,
- The employment agency is responsible for interviewing candidates for assignments to determine qualifications, conducting screening for alcohol and drug testing, checking references of assignees, conducting occupational skills testing, conducting complete background checks (from aged 18 to current date) and check to ensure assignee possesses a valid driver’s license, of every individual referred to the City, prior to starting the assignment,
- Seasonal assignees are those who work a certain regular season or period of the year performing some work or activity limited to that season and either:
- Averages in the aggregate, fewer than 500 hours in the previous, calendar year, or
- Who worked one calendar year and returned for the following year,
- Interns are full-time college or university students enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year degreed program and who work on special projects in accordance with their course of study. Students must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in order to be and/or remain eligible for participation in the program,
- Temporary assignments are those that are made for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) continuous calendar days in any calendar year,
- Youth assignees are high school junior or senior students enrolled in vocational classes and who participate in the Youth-School-to-Work Program.

Performance of the work will be Onsite.
