Government Authority located in Waterford, Michigan; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for employee assistance program.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide employee assistance program to the government authority located in Waterford, MI.
- The employee assistance program services help employees with personal concerns related to family and work-related issues, financial matters, legal concerns, mental health, drug and alcohol addiction that may have an impact on their lives and may potentially impact on their job performance
- The selected vendor will provide an effective and comprehensive employee assistance program for county employees and their current household members, as well as provide additional professional expertise and counselling for specified situations and presentations to employees, as required
- To assess the appropriate type of assistance needed to assist employees and their dependents with their personal concerns
- To resolve problems, prevent a decline in work performance or restore performance to a satisfactory level
- To make referrals to assistance providers that offer short-term problem resolution or referrals to providers for longer term problem resolution mental health treatment services as needed
- To provide services that help in reducing health care costs through early intervention and care management
- To promote and support drug and alcohol-free workplace in support of the employer policies
- Provide management consults for managers and supervisors
- Training and Seminar Topics: The employee assistance program provider will provide a list of available topics that can be utilized for training and will conduct employee training for the county
- Services to Employees: This service must be immediately available to all employees working all shifts including emergency situations on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis
- Publications and Documents: The employee assistance program provider shall furnish literature with contact numbers for employees to seek assistance; i.e. business and wallet cards with the name and phone number of the employee assistance program provider, booklets and pamphlets describing the services provided and a website that offers access to resources and educational content
- Staffing Qualifications: All counselling, assessment and referral services will be provided by qualified, experienced clinicians that have expertise and professional and technical skills, education and licensing and credentials in the appropriate areas
(2) A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 28, 20109.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
