[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide staff development and materials services to deliver interactive, research based professional development focused on supporting grade K-12 teachers and district personnel which includes but is not limited to face-to-face, online (webinars), conferences, training-of-trainers, consultation, and on the job coaching and observation,
- Improve and increase teachers’ knowledge of the academic subjects the teachers teach, and enable teachers to become highly qualified if they are teaching in a federal core content area,
- Be sustained, intensive, and classroom-focused in order to have a positive and lasting impact on classroom instruction and teachers’ performance in the classroom,
- Be structured on scientifically-based research demonstrated to improve student academic achievement or substantially increase the knowledge and teaching skills of teachers,
- Be delivered by individuals who have demonstrated qualifications and credentials in the focus area of the professional development,
- Support the success of all learners including children with special needs and limited English proficiency,
- Provide training for teachers in the use of technology so that technology and technology applications are effectively used in the classroom to improve teaching and learning in the curricula and federal core academic subjects in which the teachers teach,
- Professional development content should focus on developing teachers into lifelong learners that seek feedback and growth opportunities to develop, lead, and collaborate. It should support in the continual development of content and pedagogy knowledge necessary for teaching diverse learners,
- Professional development content should focus on developing teachers into literacy developers who can design and facilitate learning experiences that develop the necessary skills for fluent reading, writing, speaking, and communicating across the content areas, etc. to the government authority located in Katy, TX.
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on October 8, 2019.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than October 21, 2019.
