Government Authority located in Tumwater, Washington; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for geotechnical engineering personnel augmentation services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide the services of senior geotechnical engineers, referred to as the consultant for the purposes of staff augmentation that will perform senior level geotechnical engineering in support of capital improvements, preservation, maintenance and emergency projects to the government authority located in Tumwater, WA.
1. Draw on their training and experience in geotechnical engineering to complete geotechnical designs for projects and to support construction.
2. Perform geotechnical designs by independently selecting analysis methods that are appropriate for highly complex site conditions, collected data, and project needs.
3. Identify, evaluate, and design for geotechnical hazards such as; liquefaction, lateral spread, flow failure, landslides, and seismic loading.
4. Calculate resistances, earth pressures, water pressures, settlement, and loads for geomaterials.
5. Develop field exploration plans and specialized laboratory testing plans to support their geotechnical engineering activities.
6. Communicate clearly and effectively with their customers in writing and orally.
7. Review their own engineering work and the engineering work of others for clarity, correctness, and conformance to policy, National design codes, and contract documents.
8. Manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects.
9. Seal their own professional work and the work of subordinates when they are in responsible charge of the subordinate’s work.
(2) Contract term will be two years.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Onsite.
